This is the official practice guideline for the treatment of patients with Eating Disorders developed and endorsed by the American Psychiatric Association. The guideline uses a level of evidence scheme based upon the degree of clinical confidence assigned to recommendations, and was constructed by a work group of psychiatrists with experience in the field of Eating Disorders with invited input from key stakeholders.
