Toowoomba: Fostering Recovery - A 1-Day Workshop for Carers Affected by Eating Disorders

About this event

Queensland Eating Disorders Service (QuEDS) and the Eating Disorders Association Qld (EDA) present Fostering Recovery, based on the work of Professor Janet Treasure which has been proven to decrease carer burden and stress. The workshop is facilitated by experienced practitioners specialising in eating disorders and aims to help you:

  • Understand more about eating disorders and ways to support recovery
  • Make meal times less stressful
  • Develop positive coping strategies and communication skills
  • Foster a healthier relationship with your loved one

 

Follow up support will be available for attendees.
