Eating Disorders Queensland

A merger of the Eating Issues Centre (TEIC) and Eating Disorders Association (EDA) in Brisbane, on 5 October 2018, created Eating Disorders Queensland (EDQ) - the largest community service in Queensland offering support and treatment for individuals living with and recovering from eating disorders, their Carers and loved ones.

Eating Disorders Queensland works with people over 17 with serious eating issues such as anorexia, bulimia and compulsive eating.

EDQ is funded by Queensland Health. We value the sharing of recovery wisdom and aim to involve people with a lived experience, carers and family members and loved ones.
