Victorian Centre of Excellence in Eating Disorders (CEED)
CEED services can be provided into 4 prime areas.
1. Case Consultation and support service available to public mental health services (Adult and Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services).
2. Education and training at an introductory and advanced level on Eating Disorders understanding, assessment, and management. CEED provides training via the State-Wide Mental Health Education and Training (Cluster) Program, in response to service requests, and interest and need as determined during consultation services. All training provided by CEED staff is free (cost recovery) to specialist public mental health services of Victoria. This is all training other than 'purchased training'.
3. Service development / tertiary consultation to specialist Eating Disorder services, and Adult and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services is available.
4. Resource development- CEED develops clinical resources and assists services with protocols, service pathway planning and accessing resources developed elsewhere.
