Wesley Hospital Ashfield, Wesley Eating Disorders Centre, Inpatient and Day Patient Program

Wesley Hospital Ashfield features a specialised clinic, the Wesley Eating Disorders Centre, which offers an integrated approach to treatment of eating disorders, and a high staff-patient ratio.

Treatment usually begins with an inpatient program. During your stay, you will receive support through a high level of supervision and an intensive group program. Unlike some other programs, our clinicians have the flexibility to tailor treatment to the group’s needs. The length of stay varies because each person is at a different stage of their eating disorder, and has a different level of motivation to recover.

At the right stage in your recovery, you can continue with treatment in our day patient program. Attendance is initially five days a week with a gradual step down to three days and then one day.
