If you're feeling overwhelmed navigating treatment for an eating disorder, EDV's Telehealth Nurse service is here to assist you.
EFV's Telehealth Nurse/s will:
- Assess your history, needs, and treatment goals
- Help you find specialised eating disorder health professionals in your area and plan your next steps
- Offer valuable information and educational resources
When reaching out to EDV’s Telehealth Nurse Service, you'll connect with a qualified nurse experienced in supporting individuals with eating disorders. Our nurses have professional backgrounds in Victoria’s eating disorder hospital services and possess comprehensive knowledge of the state's care system.
Your journey with EDV’s Telehealth Nurses typically begins with a 1-hour phone assessment. During this conversation, the nurse will delve into your individual needs, discussing the history of your or your loved one’s eating disorder, current treatments, and future goals. Following the assessment, our nurses continue to provide ongoing support through follow-up sessions, assisting you in staying on track towards your recovery objectives.
