Doctor Jennifer Bibb, Music Therapist, National Creative Arts and Music Therapy Research Unit (CAMTRU), University of Melbourne & BETRS

EDFA is delighted to present Dr Jennifer Bibb who will speak to members about music and music therapy and to offer strategies that may assist your loved ones with an eating disorder.

Dr Bibb is a Senior Music Therapist, Postdoctoral Researcher in music therapy at the University of Melbourne and an Eating Disorders Clinician at BETRS, the specialist eating disorder service for the North East region of Victoria. Her research focuses on the role of music therapy in improving treatment outcomes for people with eating disorders, as well as the use of music listening during recovery. She is committed to conducting research that translates into practice and that honours consumer perspectives.

EDFA have a range of recorded sessions with lived experience carers, eating disorder experts, siblings, recovered people and more. For EDFA members only. Membership is $25. Membership gives access to monthly state-based strive carer support groups, twice monthly education sessions and more.
