Understanding and Treating Binge Eating Disorder
Understanding and Treating Binge Eating Disorder
Eating Disorders Families Australia (EDFA)
About this event
Binge Eating Disorder (BED) is the most common eating disorder, affecting 6% of the population.
In this webinar Jo Money provides us with a greater understanding of BED, effective treatment paths and how parents and caregivers can help manage and support their loved ones on their path to healing.
Josephine is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Director of Eat Love Live.
Jo has a non-dieting approach to health management which involves focusing on behaviour change to improve measurable health outcomes. Jo aims to support people to improve their overall relationship with food and to reconnect with the body’s hunger and satiety cues. Jo employs the Health at Every Size Paradigm in her work.
The presentation will include 30 minutes of Q&A’s with Jo and the audience.
For EDFA members only. Membership is $25. Membership gives access to monthly state-based strive carer support groups, twice monthly education sessions and more.
