Your facilitators:

Emilie - Senior Education Officer

Emilie has worked within mental health services for twelve years with both adults and children both in the United Kingdom and Australia. Emilie is passionate about the importance of meaningful connection in her work and personal life, which was paramount in her own recovery of a severe and enduring eating disorder, and continues to be one of her core values.

Abbey - Education Officer

Abbey has a background in public health and health promotion, and has worked in the mental health space for the past four years. Through experiencing and recovering from an eating disorder, Abbey realised her passion for raising awareness in the community about eating disorders and other mental health conditions, and is proud to be able to continue this work as part of the EDV Education Team.

Shaan - Postgraduate Student, Master of Public Health

Shaan is undertaking the final part of her Master of Public Health on placement at Eating Disorders Victoria. The work that EDV does sits close to Shaan’s heart, having herself experienced and recovered from an eating disorder. Shaan is excited to be bringing her public health knowledge and lived experience, along with four years’ public service experience in education, to the Education Team at EDV.
