The SWB of parents of children with an eating disorder is a crucial yet under-studied population. Research has shown that carers in general have some of the lowest collective SWB and that improving health literacy may mitigate some concerns. By measuring the SWB of parents of children with an eating disorder and identifying protective factors, we may be able to improve psychological support strategies and inform policy. The study will be conducted as an online survey, with participants being Australian primary carers (aged ≥18 years) of a child/adolescent with an eating disorder (aged ≤19 years) still living at home.
