Participants
The ScreenED project invites families with a primary school aged child to participate in its final study, to help validte the screening tool. The study welcomes registrations from all kinds of families, whether there are concerns about the child\'s eating or not - although we are especially keen to hear from families where the child has an eating disorder diagnosis or where there are concerns about the child\'s eating.
What is Involved
Participation involves 1 parent and 1 child from the family each completing 2 x online surveys that ask questions about children\'s health (including eating habits) and mental health. The questions are safe for all children whether there are concerns about eating or not.
Families can also opt-in for their child to participate in a clinical interview.
Families will be reimbursed for their time with a $100 online voucher (for completing surveys only) or a $200 online voucher (for completing surveys and attending an interview).
Parents will also receive a copy of their and their child\'s responses to the study questions.
