This research is exploring what it means to live well as a larger-bodied person. “Living well” includes feeling comfortable, supported, and able to be yourself in everyday life.
The researchers are interested in what helps people feel well in their bodies. They want to know what supports or stops people from participating fully and fairly in the activities that matter to them.
What they learn will help inform health promotion efforts (e.g., campaigns, programs, services, policies) so they are supportive, inclusive, and effective for people of all sizes.
