Butterfly Foundation
A free 8-week psychoeducation and skills program for individuals experiencing an eating disorder or engage in disordered eating. The program is delivered by trained and experienced peer support facilitators.
Eligibility criteria:
- >18 years
- Approval from GP
- Committed to complete 8 weeks
A free intensive telehealth day program for people discharging from hospital with an eating disorder. It runs for 3 hours per day on 3 days per week for 8 weeks. Includes weekly 1:1 sessions with a psychologist, dietitian and peer worker. It provides meal support and group sessions.
- Requires GP/medical/psychiatry referral
Virtual (video call) or webchat support groups run by peer workers.
- >18 years
InsideOut Institute
Binge Eating eTherapy online program (self-help).
- 10 and 4 session options
- Appropriate for binge eating disorder and possibly Bulimia Nervosa
- For BMI >18.5 with no recent weight loss
- Free
11 self-paced modules for people with restrictive or binge-eating symptoms.
- >12 years old
- Have difficulties with food/weight/shape issues.
- No active suicidality or self-harm plan
- A full GP assessment needs to be submitted
