About this event

NT PHN and National Eating Disorders Collaboration invites all health professionals to this education workshop on eating disorders.

Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses associated with significant physical complications and increased mortality.

The mortality rate for people with eating disorders is the highest of all psychiatric illnesses, and over 12 times higher than that for people without eating disorders.

About one in 20 Australians has an eating disorder and the rate in the Australian population is increasing. Eating disorders occur in people of all genders, ages and backgrounds

Accreditation: This training is allocated 4 RACGP and 2 ACRRM CPD hour points.
