NEDC and Western Queensland PHN invite all medical and health professionals to an education evening on eating disorders including:
• screening and assessment
• supporting patient and carers
• management and treatment
• recovery and essential elements of care
• referral pathways and support services
• NEDC and other resources
NEDC are delighted to host guest speaker Associate Professor Warren Ward, Director of the Queensland Eating Disorder Service (QuEDS), Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Queensland.
He serves as Chair of the QLD Health Eating Disorders Advisory Group and is past Secretary of Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED). He has a wealth of experience and clinical expertise in eating disorders and is a co-author of the RANZCP Clinical Practice Guidelines for Eating Disorders.
This professional development event carries 4 Catergory 2 QI&CPD Points with the RACGP.
