About this event

Eating Disorders Explained is an introductory workshop that covers: types of eating disorders, risk factors, warning signs, how to help to prevent eating disorders, support options – including professional support, how to approach someone you are concerned about and an outline of EDV services and useful resources. A Stories of Recovery ambassador will also present their personal story of recovery form an eating disorder.

This workshop is open to anyone in the community. Those who may especially benefit are GPs, nurses, dietitians, personal trainers, coaches, gym staff, community workers, youth workers, welfare workers and those in the fashion industry.
