A Personal Story of Recovery from an Eating Disorder

About this event

Nikki Morrison is a Registered Nurse at Melbourne’s Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, a Registered Counsellor and End of Life Doula with a lived experience of an eating disorder.

Nikki will share her personal journey of healing from an eating disorder, body image issues, social anxiety, debilitating self-esteem, obsessive thinking and more. Nikki’s story is honest, brave, authentic and empowering.

From her own lived experience, Nikki will also help parents and carers understand how we can be the most helpful supports for our own loved ones.

The session will include a 30-minute Q&A with Nikki and the audience.

For EDFA members only.
