1-Day Workshop for Health Professionals on the Management of Eating Disorders in Youth (>16 years) and Adults (NEDC/ANZAED Accredited)
This one-day introductory workshop is designed for health professionals across all care settings who have limited experience with providing evidence based, contemporary treatment for people living eating disorders. This workshop includes activities, group work and input from a multi-disciplinary team specialising in eating disorder care and treatment.

This collaborative workshop will include information on:
- Understanding the types of DSM-5 eating disorders (EDs) and MBS items for accessing specialised care
- Understanding the evidence-based management of eating disorders via a collaborative stepped systems approach
- Identifying physical and psychological affects of malnutrition and refeeding risks
- Understanding the evidence-based treatment approaches to eating disorder management
- Understanding the relationship between eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Identifying how an eating disorder can affect an individual through the perspective of a lived experience.
