Accessing Financial Support via the NDIS

Accessing Financial Support via the NDIS

About this event

Kim Henderson, NDIS Co-ordinator

Navigating your way around the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to access the services you need for your loved one is no simple feat! The NDIS aims to provide the supports and funding people living with a disability need to live their best life.

Come along to hear Kim Henderson, NDIS Co-ordinator from Maroondah City Council, provide general tips and advice around topics such as eligibility, what to expect, preparation, planning and implementation of your NDIS plan. The session will include 30 minutes of Q&A to ask Kim any questions you may have.

Kim also has lived experience of supporting her daughter through an eating disorder and has a good understanding of the various supports individuals with eating disorders may require for co-occurring conditions plus a long history in the disability sector in Victoria.
