Kate will discuss her lived experience recovery from Bulimia and will also explore what anxiety really is, its various forms, and how it can manifest in people.

She will provide insights and strategies on how to establish open, empathetic, and constructive communication with loved ones dealing with anxiety.

Caring for someone with anxiety can be demanding. Kate will discuss the importance of self-care and share practical self-care tips for carers.
Kate will highlight some valuable resources, discussing techniques from her book Anxiety Hacks that can provide additional support and information for carers.

A Q&A and discussion will follow the presentation, allowing attendees to share their experiences and seek guidance.

Kate Hudson-Hall is a distinguished psychotherapist, accomplished hypnotherapist, and a passionate advocate for mental health. She is renowned as the author of “Bulimia Sucks!” and the captivating host of the ‘Bulimia Sucks’ podcast. Kate’s exceptional mental health and self-help journey has garnered her recognition as an award-winning, best-selling author of “Anxiety Hacks.”

Kate’s profound empathy and understanding of anxiety stem from her personal experiences. At the tender age of 18, she embarked on a challenging battle with bulimia, catalysed by the trauma of sexual abuse. Over the course of fifteen tumultuous years, she grappled with this eating disorder. However, Kate’s unyielding spirit and unwavering determination led her to break free from the clutches of bulimia, forging a new path.
