Background

QuEDS FPS program commenced in 2018 with a 12month pilot of one group of 10 participants and has since been formally evaluated and rolled out to provide more than 180 dietitians around
Queensland across public and private sectors with ongoing monthly peer supervision via 19 groups (as of January 2025) each with a specific clinical focus area within the eating disorders arena, plus
one group focused on the general mental health arena including eating disorders.

The published evaluation of the QuEDS FPS program is available online. Please see "Evaluation of a model of online, facilitated, peer group supervision for dietitians working in eating disorders" which
has been published as Open Access in the Journal of Eating Disorders. https://rdcu.be/cQZmS

QuEDS FPS program meets the standard of ‘eating disorder specific group supervision’ as required for ANZAED CEDC credentialing.

Qld Health recognises that effective professional supervision and support is central to provision of high-quality health services and safety of consumers (see QH-HSD-034:2014) and MNHHS Allied
Health Clinical Supervision policy states that participation in clinical supervision is mandatory.
