Delivering CBT-E in Context: Treating Eating Disorders in Athletes, Exercisers and Performers

About this event

Clinicians providing treatments to athletes, exercises and performers experiencing eating and body image concerns are invited to attend a skills-based workshop focused on the provision of Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E). The workshop will be active and experiential and will involve opportunities for practising core CBT-E components and interventions. The workshop will facilitate opportunities for exploring unique considerations and practical adaptations and to enhance the delivery of CBT-E in athletes, exercisers and performers.

 

Requirement

As this is an advanced workshop, it is expected that all attendees have already completed introductory training in eating disorders and formal CBT-E training.
