About this event

Strengthen your therapeutic skills and explore the pathways to becoming a credentialled eating disorder clinician. You’ll also learn about evidence-based treatment approaches and available training opportunities. This session is ideal for anyone in a health or community services role including peer workers, psychosocial support workers, aboriginal health workers, allied health staff, headspace staff, practice nurses, GP’s and counsellors and psychologists in private practice.

In this session we will cover:

  • Foundational therapeutic skills
  • Building rapport
  • Empathy and validation
  • Evidence based eating disorder treatment
  • Training and credentialling pathways
