If you want and can take part in this study, we will ask you to complete a brief screening/demographic survey and then attend a Zoom interview during which the interviewer will ask the experiences and perspectives of health professionals working with people with lived experience of eating disorders who have taken glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP1 agonists e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Tirzepatide etc) for obesity or weight related conditions? This will include questions about how you have noticed GLP1 agonists impacting on eating disorder symptoms and treatment engagement and outcomes (during and after (where relevant) taking the medication), how you adjust your treatment approaches for those taking GLP1 agonists, and evidence gaps in terms of weight loss medications and eating disorder treatments.

You are invited to participate in a qualitative research project exploring the experiences and perspectives of health professionals working with people with lived experience of eating disorders who have taken glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP1 agonists; e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Tirzepatide etc) for obesity or weight related conditions?

The study forms part of a larger suite of studies developed in response to requests from people with lived experience of higher weight, weight related conditions, eating disorders and/or weight stigma to have a way to share their experiences and perspectives. This suite of studies aims to provide a forum in which these voices can be heard and understood so that they can inform research directions and service planning.
