National Research Seminar Series #1: Exploring basic science in relation to eating disorders
About this event
The first seminar in the series kicks off with Dr Claire Foldi and Dr Felicia Reed exploring ‘The Utility of Animal Models for Understanding Mechanisms of Eating Disorders’.
Join AEDRTC for this fascinating look at how animal research can inform our understanding of eating disorders, and for a discussion about how co-design with people who have lived experience expertise can influence and shape how basic research is conducted and what it aims to achieve.
The AEDRTC is hosting a monthly seminar for those who conduct or are interested in eating disorders research and the translation of research into practice. The scientific seminar series will bring together expert researchers with diverse areas of focus to facilitate national discussions about innovative research happening across the sector.
AEDRTC aim to articulate how the inclusion of Lived Experience and First Nations expertise in co-production helps enrich our understanding and improve research outcomes. Attendees will deepen their knowledge of the eating disorders research landscape in Australia and across the globe.
Join AEDRTC as they engage in discussions that will trigger new ideas, generate partnership opportunities, and provoke the consideration of co-production to generate high impact research.
