Body Image Work: A Practical Guide for Clinicians Supporting Body Image

Body Image Work: A Practical Guide for Clinicians Supporting Body Image

Eating Disorders Training Australia

About this event

In this online and self directed one day workshop (or day 1 of 2 available trainings) you will learn to work with a comprehensive and personalised visual metaphor that simplifies the multifaceted contributors to body dissatisfaction. This framework is applicable to all clients experiencing body image concerns, whether or not they have an eating disorder. You’ll be guided to use this tool collaboratively with clients to implement meaningful change, drawing on evidence-based strategies delivered in a trauma-informed and weight-neutral way.

You’ll also build your own repertoire of experiential skills for delivering body image work and grow your confidence in tailoring support to meet each client’s needs.
